The ISOLATOR
is a high performance two channel balanced line level isolator that
provides transformer based isolation between various pieces of pro audio
equipment to eliminate hum and buzz caused by ground loops.
The
RoXdon ISOLATOR is a balanced 2-channel, line-level isolator that has
been specifically developed for recording and broadcast studios plus
professional touring systems as a means to eliminate hum and buzz caused
by ground loops when interfacing various audio equipment.
Central
to the ISOLATOR is the use of the Custom Wound RoXdon Audio
Transformers, specially developed for this application. These
transformers assure the very best signal transfer without distortion
caused by saturation or phase shift. The transformers can handle up to
+28dB of audio and are hand wired with no internal circuit board. Also
included is an earth lift switch. All connections are balanced XLR.
The RoXdon ISOLATOR features a rugged Diecast
enclosure for maximum durability and to stand up to the rigors of
pro-touring.
